Just what exactly has happened??

JUST WHAT EXACTLY HAS HAPPENED??

     

     Let's see.... I think it started when Madalyn Murray O'Hare complained that she didn't want any prayer in our schools, and we said OK. Then someone said, you had better not read the Bible in school - -the Bible that says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself.  And we said, OK.

     Dr. Benjamin Spock said that we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem.  And we said, an expert should know what he's talking about, so we won't spank them anymore.

     

     Then someone said that teachers and principals better not discipline our children when they misbehave.  And the school administrators said no faculty member in this school better touch a student when they misbehave because we don't want any bad publicity, and we surely don't want to be sued.  And we accepted their reasoning.

     

     Then someone said, let's let our daughters have abortions if they want, and they won't even have to tell their parents.  And we said, that's a grand idea. Then some wise school board member said, since boys will be boys and they're going to "do it" anyway, let's give our sons all the condoms they want, so they can have all the "fun" they desire, and we won't have to tell their parents they got them at school.  And we said, that's another great idea.

     

     And then some of our top elected official said that it doesn't matter what we do in private as long as we do our jobs.  And agreeing with them, we said that it doesn't matter to me what anyone, including the President, does in private as long as I have a job and the economy is good. And then someone said, let's promote the sexual exploitation of women in print and on the Internet, and call it art. And we said they're entitled to their free speech.

     

     And someone else took that appreciation a step further and said let's promote the sexual exploitation of children and use the powerful homosexual lobby to legitimize such abuse.  And we said, we must be tolerant of diversity. And the entertainment industry said, let's make TV shows and movies and videos and video games that promote the most evil attributes of our humanity.  Let's record music that encourages rape, drugs, murder, suicide, and Satanic themes. And we said, give us more.

     

     Now we're asking ourselves why so many of our nation's young have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.  If we contemplate this question vigorously, we might determine the answer.

     Although this is an accurate review of the downfall of the USA since the 1960's, the slide began much earlier when Daddy & Mommy were out worshiping the idols they purchased by putting Mommy to work, thereby abandoning the kiddies and the home which God ordained as the foundational building block of society. “If the foundations be destroyed what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3)

     This was popularized by the WWII practice of women working in the munition factories during wartime. It was a 'patriotic duty' to work to support the war effort. However, many 'Mommies' remained in the workforce beginning a tragic trend which was and is the major contributor to the destruction of the home, for how can you be a Mother when someone else or institution is Mothering your children?

     But, this was not the beginning of the destruction of home and Biblical Womanhood in the USA. The roots of this Satanic movement which is represented by the N.O.W. gang was seen in the women's               suffrage movement which climaxed in the right to vote for women. Although this might seem like a radical theory to most, I'm sure if those women were alive today they would bemoan the results of their efforts almost a century later.

     God's plan for a Godly woman never included putting her in a place of deciding who would govern the land she lived in, it was her high and holy calling to govern the home, marry & bear children. This so-called 'victory' for women began the rapid diminishing process of the precious position of honor and respect Mothers/Wives rightly deserve!

     Today women are in bondage, literal slavery, to the Big Money Types, the Movers & Shakers of Wall Street, the owners of businesses, the money mongers of this world, working for a mere percentage of what the position really should be paid. But that is not the real issue, even though women are being used and abused wholesale!

     The real issue is what the Lord has ordained in His Word! A proper exposition of His Word reveals that age is the issue in all positions, male and female alike! The woman in Proverbs 31, which is used as the proof text of many errant Bible ‘teachers’ for putting women in the work force, is obviously an older woman, having a husband that was older than forty because he was known in the gate and sat among the elders of the land, and mature children who had the knowledge and understanding to rise up and praise their mother for her Godly character calling her blessed of God!

     The young women spoken of in I Timothy 5:14 and Titus 2:4, 5 however has her calling specifically outlined. She is to marry, bear children and rule the house, which is one of, if not, 'the' highest callings in Scripture! And the literal trashing of their calling by the media and those in authority has caused the open and vicious blasphemy of the precious Word of God. This has been foretold by the Apostle Paul in (Titus 2:5).

     This is where the devil has focused his subtle, but now openly blatant attack on the family. He will continue to concentrate on the 'weaker vessel' and when successful he will bring the family down! He's been doing it since the beginning, and he will continue doing it (if we allow it) to the end! But, we have a hope which is rightly based in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Second Coming! So, let us pray fervently for REVIVAL for the Lord can turn our hearts to Himself if we will only obey and surrender to His will!
